PSP Homebrew Showcase

October 2026:

Here are two plugins and two music apps created recently. Each Github page for the projects provide install info and further details of the apps.

2TUFF.wav by Zaid Raed
A PSP music player that looks great. It plays only MP3 despite the name of the app. The colours and dithering are a neat feature. Big fan of the pink.

TRAXPSP by TRAX
A PSP and Vita music player that supports FLAC. Great loading times of music, fun visualizers, global shuffle for multiple folders, and lyrics that can be fetched over WiFi while the song plays.

WAVEZBG by Koutsie
Custom waves for the background of the XMB. The plugin can load a wave.txt file (which can be customized here) and enjoy custom colours on the XMB instead of the usual 27. Something different than a custom theme if you prefer the classic look of the XMB.

sunlight by Koutsie
A brightness plugin where each level of brightness can be customized. No photos really show this properly but a neat plugin to have to adjust brightness levels if needed.
